Kentucky basketball has never only belonged to the players on the court. It belongs to you and all of Big Blue Nation. Every season has its own chapter. And as a UK student, you get one of the best seats in the house to help us write this one. Your seat comes with a job: BRING THE NOISE. BRING THE ENERGY.
Student tickets are available through a combination of ticket claims (if you have a season pass) and single game purchases throughout the season. Dates matter, so check the student basketball claim and purchase calendar and make a plan for the games you don't want to miss.
For complete student ticket basketball claim and purchase calendar, FAQs and other student ticket information, visit UKStudentTix.com.
Team Wildcat is open to all UK students and is another way to get connected to Kentucky Athletics, meet fellow Wildcat fans and bring the energy to student sections across UK sports.
Search Team Wildcat on BBNvolved and select Join.
For student ticket reminders, game-day information and the latest from UK Athletics follow:
See them in the student section? Go say hello. They want you in the eRUPPtion Zone.
Do this before you're standing outside Rupp trying to remember a password while everyone else is heading inside:
| ❶ | Make sure to download the Get Mobile App. If you have the WildCard Mobile ID, you've already done this. |
|---|---|
| ❷ | Update the UK Athletics app. Make sure you have the latest version on your phone. |
| ❸ | Access your ticket before you arrive. Log in to your UK Athletics Student Account through the UK Athletics App using the email address associated with your ticket account |
| ❹ | Save your ticket to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. It'll make getting inside faster and easier. |
| ❺ | Don't screenshot your ticket. SafeTix uses secure mobile-ticket technology. Screenshots will NOT work at entry. |
Do it before you leave. Then your only game-day technology problem can be deciding which picture from Rupp makes the Instagram dump.
| 📍 | All UK Students, eRUPPtion Zone and reserved seating, must enter Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center through the High Street entrance, across from the entrance to the Gate 2 parking lot. |
| 🪪 | Bring your valid UK WildCard ID. |
| 🕓 | Student doors open two hours prior to tipoff for SEC Conference games and the Louisville game, and 90 minutes before for remaining games. Check your game-day information before heading downtown. |
| 📣 |
And give yourself some time. Seats are first come, first served, so arriving early means less rushing and more time to settle in. Want to sit with your friends? Make sure you have the same ticket type and arrive together so you can find seats as a group before tip-off. |
We want you loud when the other team is warming up!
First, make sure you're logging in to your UK Athletics Student Account through the UK Athletics App using the email address associated with your ticket account.
Your Athletics ticket account and your app profile are not the same thing, so make sure you're accessing the correct account.
Still having trouble? Visit UKStudentTix.com or contact the UK Ticket Office for help.
All bags must follow the UK Athletics Clear Bag Policy, and all bags and items are subject to search.
Want the easiest route inside? Leave the bag at home.
Rupp Arena is downtown, so think about how you're getting there before game day.
Students who plan to park on campus should follow UK Transportation Services policies. Parking availability and locations vary by permit type, so pay attention to posted signage and parking restrictions.
Basketball is better with a student section. A student section is better with your people.
So, make the group chat. Figure out the tickets. Head downtown together. And when the lights go down and Rupp gets loud, take a second to look around and soak it in.
This is part of being a Wildcat.
Years from now, you may not remember every score. But you'll remember the games you went to with your friends. The nights Rupp was deafening. The buzzer-beaters and celebrations. The games when you left without much of a voice.
And when the Cats make a run and Rupp starts rocking, you'll understand quickly:
Kentucky Women’s Basketball is bringing two big games to Rupp Arena this December:
Put both dates in the group chat. Bring your friends, wear blue and give the Cats a student section they can hear from the court. Claim your free ticket in advance on your student ticket account. Check the women’s basketball schedule for game updates and the game day page before you go.
