Head Coach Will Stein with whistle in his mouth at practice

When Kroger Field is full and Big Blue Nation is all in together, it creates the kind of environment our players feed off.

Head Coach Will Stein

'Caturdays' at the University of Kentucky

There are certain experiences that become part of your time at UK

A packed student section on a fall Saturday is one of them.

This is a new season. A new era of Kentucky Football. And seven Saturdays at Kroger Field when UK students have the chance to help create one of the best parts of their Big Blue experience. Come with your friends. Meet some new ones. Learn the chants. Show up early. Stay loud. Stay until the end.

Coach Stein has made it clear: the atmosphere matters.

So, whether you’ve had your ticket for weeks or you’re deciding right now that Saturday sounds pretty good, we’d love to see you there.

LET’S MAKE KROGER FIELD A PLACE NOBODY WANTS TO PLAY.  SEE YOU EVERY 'CATURDAY.' GO CATS.

Still Need a Ticket?

There’s still time to join us at Kroger Field. Student tickets are available while supplies last.

Kentucky Football is Back at Kroger Field

Whether this is your first game as a Wildcat or the start of another season in the student section, there’s nothing quite like a Saturday surrounded by Big Blue Nation.

It’s showing up with your friends. Wearing the colors. Learning the chants. Feeling Kroger Field get louder with every play. And being part of a student section that can help change the energy of a game.

Here's everything you need to know before you head to Kroger Field.

What to Wear Each Game

Every home game brings a different look to Kroger Field. From Blue Outs and White Outs to other special game-day themes, UK Athletics has the season mapped out.

Before you head to Kroger Field, check the 2026 Kentucky Football Promotional Schedule to see what to wear and what’s planned for each home game.

Wear the colors. Bring the energy. Be part of Kroger Field on game day.

Want the Lower Level? Get There Early!

The first 4,000 students with a student ticket admitted to Kroger Field will receive a wristband for the lower-level student section, Sections 34–40.

What you need to know:

  • The lower level is general admission. There are no reserved seats.
  • Wristbands are distributed when you arrive.
  • No wristbands will be issued inside the stadium.
  • Keep your wristband on. Lost or removed wristbands cannot be replaced.

Once the lower level reaches capacity, students will receive a reserved upper-level seat location. If you’re assigned an upper-level seat, sit in the section, row and seat listed on your seat locator.

Bottom line: Lower level is first come, first served. Arrive early if you want to be down close to the action.

Before You Leave for Kroger Field

Take care of these things before you’re standing outside Gate 1 with a few thousand of your closest Wildcat friends:

  1. Make sure to download the Get Mobile App. (If you have the mobile WildCard, you’ve already done this).
  2. Update the UK Athletics App. Make sure you have the latest version on your mobile device.
  3. Access your ticket. Log in to your UK Athletics Student Account through the UK Athletics App using the email associated with your account. Most student ticket accounts use your linkblue email, unless you’ve updated your ticket account to use a different email.
  4. Add your ticket to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.  It’ll make getting into the stadium faster.
  5. Don’t screenshot your ticket. SafeTix uses a moving barcode and tap-and-go technology. Screenshots and screen recordings will NOT work.

STUDENT GATE = GATE 1

All UK students enter Kroger Field through Gate 1 which opens 2 hours prior to kickoff.

Have your valid UK WildCard ID ready to scan + your pink student ticket.

Student tickets are for UK students only. IDs from other institutions cannot be used with a UK student ticket.

Bringing a guest? Student section guest tickets are teal in color and do not require a WildCard ID; those with guest tickets also enter through Gate 1.

Need help with your student ticket on game day? Stop at the Student Resolution tent at Gate 1.

Leave Your Bags and Purses at Home

All bags must follow the UK Athletics Clear Bag Policy and are subject to search.

Want to get inside faster? Leave the bag at home.

CAN’T GET INTO YOUR ACCOUNT?

Make sure you’re signing in to your UK Athletics Student Account through the UK Athletics App. Most student ticket accounts use your linkblue email, unless you’ve updated your ticket account to use a different email. If the app asks you to sign in to your app profile, you can tap Skip. Your app profile is different from your ticket account.

WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH TEAM WILDCAT?

The student section doesn’t bring energy by accident. Team Wildcat helps make it happen.

Follow Team Wildcat for game-day updates, student section news, behind-the-scenes fun and more ways to get into the Big Blue spirit all season long.

And if being part of the crew that helps bring the energy sounds like your kind of thing, check out Team Wildcat and learn how you can get involved.

Follow along. Show up. Get loud. Maybe even join the team.

New This Year: Game Day Got an Upgrade

There’s more that’s new at Kroger Field this season.

UK Athletics is rolling out a new pregame experience and team introduction, more in-stadium energy and fan engagement, new food options and lower prices on several concession favorites.

And students, your meal plan is coming with you.

Students can use a meal plan swipe for select concession combos at designated locations near the student section, including options for pizza, hot dogs, nachos and walking tacos with a drink.

Kroger Field concessions and the UK Team Shop are also cashless this season, so bring a credit/debit card or use mobile payment.
